Terms of Use

1. Who we are

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of RELATED, including the website relatedapp.net/us and related services (the "Platform"). The Platform is operated by STUDIO SPOTLIGHT.NET EOOD, a company registered in Bulgaria ("RELATED", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms.

2. What RELATED does

RELATED is an online marketplace that connects people planning weddings and events ("Organizers") with independent professionals such as photographers, videographers, DJs and venues ("Professionals" or "Pros"). We provide the technology: profiles, search, availability, inquiries, offers and messaging.

We are not a party to any agreement between an Organizer and a Pro. Pros set their own prices and terms, and they alone are responsible for the services they provide. Payments between Organizers and Pros (deposits, balances) are made directly between them, not through RELATED.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
• You register as an Organizer or as a Pro and must provide accurate information.
• You may not create fake profiles or impersonate anyone.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.

4. Professionals

• Pros state whether they operate as a registered business (and may provide an EIN) or as an individual. Pros are solely responsible for the accuracy of this information and for complying with all laws that apply to them, including licenses, permits, insurance and taxes.
• RELATED is an open platform: any professional may register. We do not assess professional qualifications and do not guarantee the quality, experience or results of any Pro. Organizers decide on their own, based on portfolios, reviews from real bookings and other information on the profile.
• Pros must keep their availability calendar reasonably up to date and respond to inquiries honestly.

5. Community rules and content

You may not upload or share content that:

• infringes copyright or other rights of third parties;
• is offensive, discriminatory, harassing, threatening or illegal;
• is spam, fraudulent or misleading (including fake reviews);
• puts the security of the Platform or other users at risk.

RELATED has zero tolerance for abusive content and harassment. Any user can report or block another user directly from a conversation. We review reports within 24 hours and, if a rule was broken, remove the content and restrict or terminate the account.

Content you upload (photos, videos, text) remains yours. By uploading it you grant RELATED a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display it on the Platform for as long as it is published there.

6. Plans and payments

• Creating a profile and receiving inquiries is possible on the free plan, with the limits shown in your account.
• Paid plans are one-time payments in U.S. dollars for a period of 6 or 12 months. They do not renew automatically; access ends on the date shown in your account, and we remind you before it does.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Prices are shown before you pay. Where sales or local taxes apply to your purchase, they are added at checkout and shown separately.
• Promotional free periods, when offered, are announced on the Platform and may end on a set date.
• Organizers can use the Platform for free. An additional event in the planning tools can be purchased as a one-time payment, at the price shown before checkout.

7. Refunds

Plan fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. If you could not use a paid plan because of a technical problem on our side, write to us within 14 days of payment at hello.relatedapp@gmail.com and we will review your request.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its design, code and the RELATED name and logo, belongs to STUDIO SPOTLIGHT.NET EOOD. You may not copy, scrape or resell any part of it without our written permission.

9. Availability of the service

We work to keep the Platform available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Availability shown by Pros is entered by them; always confirm the date directly with the Pro.

10. Disclaimer

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RELATED DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SERVICES, CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY PRO OR ORGANIZER.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RELATED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR DISPUTES BETWEEN ORGANIZERS AND PROS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE PLATFORM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify RELATED against claims arising from your content, your services as a Pro, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of your state. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us at hello.relatedapp@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

13. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend or terminate an account for serious or repeated breaches of these Terms.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will notify you by email or on the Platform before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Platform after that means you accept the updated Terms.
